A study conducted in 2017 on the needs and desires of older adults as it relates to transportation and includes recommended strategies for improving transportation options. ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed and represents those in our communities who are working, yet still struggling to make ends meet. Here in Ottawa County, 31% of our neighbors are struggling. United Ways across the State of Michigan put together a new ALICE report every 2 years. An in-depth analysis of health and human service issues in Ottawa County including specific data related to education, basic needs, health, and financial sustainability. Study is overseen by the Greater Ottawa County United Way and conducted every 3 years. An in-depth analysis of the health of Ottawa County residents. Study is conducted every three years by a coalition of partners and is used as the basis for the creation of the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). A plan to address the top health issues in our community based on the results of the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The CHIP process is conducted every three years. This report provides an in-depth analysis of the current market conditions and anticipated needs for additional housing at all price points in Ottawa County. This study was conducted by Housing Next in 2018/19 and was updated in 2021. The Ottawa County Youth Assessment monitors the prevalence of youth health risk behaviors. This study is conducted every two years and includes survey responses from most Ottawa-area youth from 8th, 10th and 12th grades. This study provides information about the top issues facing our Latino population, and what we as a community can do to support our Latino neighbors. The overall objective of the research was to obtain information from Ottawa County migrant farmworkers about a wide range of issues and behaviors that affect their health.Data & Studies
