Executive Director
Kory Plockmeyer
Kory Plockmeyer serves as the Executive Director of Community SPOKE as well as Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance (LNA), where he is dedicated to strengthening and supporting the nonprofit sector across West Michigan. Kory is passionate about building bridges between organizations and fostering collaboration that leads to lasting community impact. Before joining our team, Kory spent four years as the Executive Director of Movement West Michigan. Under his leadership, Movement experienced significant growth and expanded its collaborative efforts. Prior to that, Kory pastored congregations in Michigan and Iowa, taught as an adjunct professor, and led a campus ministry serving graduate students and faculty. Kory holds two master’s degrees and has presented at national conferences on various topics, including leadership and community collaboration.
Project Coordinator
Robin Lane
Robin joined Community SPOKE in July of 2016 and serves as project support for various collaborations. In this role, she helps coordinate logistics, conducts primary research, and serves as a secondary facilitator. Robin also serves as the Director of Membership for the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance (Community SPOKE’s partner organization). Prior to joining Community SPOKE, Robin spent her career in the furniture industry in a diverse number of roles including sales, marketing, and project management, ultimately becoming an owner/partner in a start-up furniture company. Robin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Environmental Analysis, Interior Design from Cornell University. Locally, she is a graduate of West Coast Leadership and has earned the Innovation Methods Certification from the NewNorth Center for Design in Business. She also volunteers with Kids Hope USA and with COLONTOWN, a nation-wide online scientific resource and support community for colorectal cancer patients and carepartners.
Director of Programs and Partnerships
Alexandra Darland
Alexandra Darland is the Director of Programs and Partnerships at LNA (Community SPOKE’s partner organization), where she focuses on ensuring people feel connected, supported, and heard across all programming. She brings a strong background in programming and events, along with deep connections to local partners, nonprofits, and community members across the region. Before joining the team, Alexandra was a Marketing Strategist for Yellow Lime Creative for two years. Prior to that, Alexandra served as the Director of Events and Programming for the Holland Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. Alexandra has also held roles with the Holland Civic Center Place and within the local craft beer community, experiences that collectively shaped her passion for community connection, partnership, and service. Alexandra is an active member of the West Michigan community and is often found supporting local events and organizations. She regularly volunteers with Women of Color Give, where she serves as Events Chair, and brings her event experience to initiatives such as Latin Americans United for Progress’ annual Fiesta celebration, the Holland Museum, and other local efforts. She has also recently joined Lakeshore United Rotaract and is a graduate of the Holland Ambassador Academy. Alexandra is always happy to share her love for the Lakeshore and help others connect to it.
